At Merxic, we believe your shopping curiosity belongs entirely to you. Merxic does not require an account, does not harvest personal identities, and does not track you across third-party apps or websites.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the absolute minimum technical information necessary to deliver store drop notifications and keep your followed stores synchronized:

• Random Device Identifier (UUID): Generated locally on your device to associate your followed brands and preferences. No names, phone numbers, or emails are ever tied to this identifier.
• Push Notification Token: If you grant permission, provided by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) or Expo to notify you when new products drop.
• Store Follows and Likes: The list of online stores you follow and products you like within the app.

2. How Information Is Used

Your data is used strictly to:

• Poll followed stores for new product arrivals.
• Deliver timely new drop push notifications.
• Display your customized store updates feed.

3. Third-Party Services & Links

Merxic discovers publicly accessible store catalogs and links to official merchant websites. When opening a product page, you interact directly with that merchant's website. Some external merchant links may contain affiliate tags that support the app's maintenance at zero additional cost to you.

4. Data Retention & Erasure (GDPR / Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

You have full control over your data. You may completely eradicate all cloud and local data at any time directly in the app:

Open Settings > Data Management > Clear All Data. This instantly dispatches a request to permanently delete your device identifier, push tokens, follow relationships, and like counts from our servers.
